PRAYING VOLUNTEERING LOCAL CHURCH ACTION GIVING	HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED - LOCAL CHURCH ACTION The Church, God’s people in this world, are called to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything [Christ has] commanded” (Matthew 28:19-20). How this actually looks for each individual or local church body varies, but each one is called to action. In addition to the many ways that you as an individual can participate in this by partnering with the Church around the world, there are several ways the local church you attend can take action, and partner with believers around the world. Some of those ways include… Forming a local Vanguard Prayer Team in your area for those who would like to gather with others on a regular basis to pray for this ministry. Inviting a Vanguard representative to share about our work and God’s people there during a service, missions conference, small group or Sunday school setting, etc. Co-hosting and/or sponsoring a Global Symposium event which brings international Christian leaders together with interested individuals and groups in the United States to further build God’s Kingdom through mutual learning. Sponsoring all or part of a Training Seminar, an international student’s bible school education, a mini-library for Christian leaders in another country. Giving a monthly, quarterly, annual, or intermittent financial gift to the ministry of Vanguard. ________________ (Fill-in-the-blank action opportunities may also exist.
