Vanguard Advisory Council Member Dr. Robert McAlister was a missionary to Ukraine for 10 years (1995-2005), years which saw democracy come to the nation, and which saw phenomenal growth of the gospel there. Robbie introduced Ed and Vanguard to the country in 2006, and we have come back twice to Kyiv to do seminar training in Discipleship Introduction (2008) and Discipleship Implementation (2009).
Currently we are working with the Independent Baptist Brotherhood (about 140 churches), and have invitations and contacts to broaden the work. We are on track to continue the Discipleship Process-of-Ministry for years to come, in Kyiv and other cities.
